What is The Vineyard?

In the Vineyard, we see Jesus’ teaching on the kingdom of God as the overarching and integrating theme of the Scriptures. From our beginnings, the Vineyard has been committed to the proclamation of the kingdom of God, and to bearing witness to the deeds of the kingdom through healing (physical, emotional, and social), doing justice, and delivering those held captive by evil. The Core Values & Beliefs booklet explores in more depth our commitment to being people of the kingdom during our brief hour on the earth. We want to see what the Father is doing, and join Him in His transforming work.

Christ's Love Vineyard is a congregation that is part of the Association of Vineyard Churches. Although not formally categorized as a denomination, Vineyard churches share strong relational ties and adhere to a unified set of values. The Vineyard movement originated approximately four decades ago and now encompasses around 2,500 churches globally. For further details about the Vineyard community, please visit www.vineyardusa.org.

“The Vineyard is God’s idea. He called us as kingdom people, doing the stuff of proclamation and demonstration. To do only half of what we’ve been called into is not a complete Gospel message and we must do all of what God’s placed upon us.”

— John Wimber
